My Confession - Update coming soon

Hey, it's me. It's...been a long time since I did anything with this game.

I'll be honest with you, I stopped working on it for a while because of a creativity block + college and work. I would return to work on it occasionally, playing through it to fix things. In the meantime, I also started smaller projects that helped me learn more about how to use RPG Maker and how to write better stories.

When the Yandere Game Jam came up, I had considered doing an update for this game to submit it to the jam, but I wasn't sure how long it would take. Instead, I made A Domestic Love in a month and put the demo out there. Making that did help me learn more, so I'm glad I went through with it. Even though I'm developing ADL right now, I've returned to put work into My Confession so that the rest of you can enjoy it.

I plan on releasing an update sometime in May. This update will continue the TRUTH route and begin the LOVE route. There will also be changes throughout the game, as I am in the process of rewriting sections (Parts of it just feel a little cringey when I look at them now). Besides that, the beginning will have changes to better expand on the main characters so that they don't come off as so one-dimensional.

With the changes, I'm also working on editing maps and scenes that feel a bit silly or strange, like the chase scene that ends with Hansuke locking Emika outside. Speaking of maps, there are...so many of them. Most of them are copies to separate events, but there are so many of these copies that it's flooding the workspace and making it difficult to keep track of everything. I plan on working through that and condensing all of the maps, and that may reduce the game file size as well, while also reducing how long it takes me to make scenes.\

That all said, an update will come sometime in May, so keep a lookout for further updates. When this update comes, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND starting a new game. When the update is near its release, I  will post an announcement to provide the release date and further information on what has changed and what has been added.
